Moved out back to California after living in Natrona County for over a decade. Your music is bitter sweet for me. It reminds me of my ranch life off of Hat 6 Rd. “307”, “Something about a horse”, and “Dos Amigos” are just a few of my favorites. And is always playing in my Chevy. When I’m missing my old life back in the 307 I just drive out to the Sierras punch you in on my radio and stare off into the mountains. Thanks for helping me through my transition Daron. GO POKES!

I discovered your music on the Silver Spurs Ranch website. They were selling a horse and used your great song, "Something about a horse" as background music. After some detective work I found your website and ordered "307". We listen to it every morning before we start our ranch work. It helps us prepare for the elements. Like the song says, you taste hell and see heaven when you work outside with cattle. The 307 does not have a corner on the market of either heaven or hell. We get our share of both in the 319. Then you "get" the song, Jim! It isn't really about any ONE particular place. But it is about THAT place for you! ~ D.

hey Daron saw your name and album in western horseman so had to look it up, man you sound good. you may not remember me but we traded saddles 15 or 20 years ago I traded you an old saddle and some cash for a wade built by toby sikes that you had. I was cowboying outside of Laramie at the time. still riding the saddle. anyhow keep it up, god bless you and your family.
